Our business history
Cindy Blomquist and her husband Dave are the founders and guiding force at Creative Confectionaire. Our company was started in 1995 and our products have been available in finer stores in the Twin cities and the upper Midwest.
In the last several years, Creative Confectionaire truffles have been shipped across the country and beyond.
About our staff
Our company was founded by Cindy Blomquist. She is an expert confectioner with a Master’s degree in Food’s and Nutrition to round out her years of experience. The recipes have been developed and refined over years of experience and with keen attention to the technical details necessary to ensure consistent quality in ingredients, process and products. Cindy brings technical expertise and true talent together to create the ultimate in confectionery delight.
Assisting Cindy is Dave Blomquist, who brings further technical expertise in ingredient selection, processing technology and management systems. Dave has over 25 years experience developing quality systems and consulting in the food industry.
Together Cindy and Dave are the management team that can ensure consistent top quality and on time delivery to give you an ultimate confectionery delight! We have recently completed construction of our new processing facility in our home south of Hastings, Minnesota. While certainly not the largest confection plant in the state, it is designed to produce more of the finest truffles and other premium confections that you can buy!
What makes us unique
Creative Confectionaire truffles, besides being made from premium ingredients, are all made fresh for your enjoyment. While large companies have to produce their product months in advance to meet demand, our truffles and other products are made to order so you get the finest and freshest confections.
