Creative Confectionaire chocolate specialty parties are not only fun but taste good too! Our chocolates, truffles, fudge and other confections are made fresh by Cindy Blomquist and her chocolatiers in historic downtown Hastings , Minnesota . Use only the highest quality ingredients and premium European chocolate, they produce chocolates and other confections for the discriminating taste. You will be the judge!

COFFEES AND TEAS
Enjoy a relaxing time with a group of friends and family! We offer a wide selection of confections using only premium European milk, dark, white, and intense dark chocolate. Our mini chocolate fountain is delectable with truffles, fruits and other dipping treats, perfect for completing your coffee or tea party. A delicious soup or salad can be added to make a complete food experience.
Our teas and coffees include several choices:
English teas
Authentic English Tea, sumptuous scone served with cream and jelly, chocolate treat, beverage.
German Coffee
Authentic German Coffee, Black Forest Cake (or other German pastry/dessert), fruit cup, chocolate treat, beverage.
Scandinavian Coffee
Authentic Scandinavian Coffee, rice pudding, Krum kaka dipped in chocolate, fruit cup, and beverage.
French Coffee
Authentic French Coffee served with filled cream puffs, fruit cup, chocolate treat, and beverage
Chocolate & More
Mini fountain filled with premium European milk, dark or white chocolate. A variety of dipping items including truffles, fruits and other treats served with coffee or tea.

A KID IN A CANDY STORE! (KID'S PARTIES AND TOURS )
Have your child's birthday party surrounded by chocolate. We personalize each child's special day. Besides getting a chocolate fountain party, each partygoer gets to make their own molded chocolate treat. We'll tour our factory and see first hand how chocolate is made. The festivities begin by decorating a chocolatier's apron to take home. Group sizes are from 10 - 20 persons. We customize the event for your child or group's event. CHOCOLATE RE-EDUCATION CLASS
Creative Confectionaire chocolate tasting and appreciation class is not only fun but tastes good too! In our store we will give you several kinds of dark, milk and white chocolate. You taste them and rate them. You'll see the difference between chocolate coating (a chocolate product containing vegetable oil) and pure premium European chocolate (the highest category of chocolate). You'll taste different cocoa content levels (and find out why cocoa content does not really tell the entire story!) We'll taste a lot of chocolate and have a chocolate fountain party. A tour of the chocolate factory showing you how we hand dip our truffles (starting from a block of chocolate). We complete the evening with a chocolate fountain party. Besides a full evening of chocolate, you can choose from either a box of our chocolate truffles or an "Official Chocolate Taste Tester" T shirt!
Our classes are held on Saturday nights and are a perfect way to get together with a group of family, friends, neighbors or co-workers. We have classes of groups of 10 - 20. Please call to arrange a time of get your group scheduled. Don't have a group? Call us and we'll add you to our waiting list and schedule a party for you at a time that fits your schedule. Price for the evening is $40.00 per person. |
OUR NEWEST OFFERING IS OUR CHOCOLATE AND WINE TASTING CLASS!
We pair chocolates with different wines to allow you to experience how different wines bring out subtle differences in taste. You may be surprised how a properly paired wine changes how you perceive the taste of chocolate! The price for a wine and chocolate evening is $45.00 per person. Call and schedule an evening with chocolate and wine.

CRUISE IN FOR THE CAR SHOW DOWNTOWN HASTINGS
"Cruise In" this summer for Historic Hastings' Downtown Car show every other weekend on Saturday Night. Dates are May 31, June 14 and 28, July 12 and 26, Auugust 9 and 23, September 6 and 20 and October 4.
All of Downtown Hastings is closed off and hundreds of classic cars fill the area. More information is available on the Hastings Downtown Business Association website.
